Water Treatment Fault Finding & Correction

This service is for water treatment systems that are installed but not working properly. We inspect the treatment system, identify why it isn’t performing, and correct the setup so it actually delivers the water quality it’s supposed to. Where media, flow rates, or settings are wrong, we fix them. We don’t replace systems blindly — we make the existing one work as it should.

What this service includes

Inspection of existing filtration and treatment systems
Checking flow rates, pressures, and backwash operation
Assessment of filter media condition and loading
Inspection of control valves and settings
Identification of design, sizing, or configuration faults
On-site corrections, adjustments, and optimisation where possible
Clear explanation of what was wrong and what was fixed

What this service does not include

Full system replacement where optimisation is not viable
Major plumbing or civil modifications
Laboratory water testing unless required for diagnosis
Items listed above may be handled as separate follow-up work where required.

This service is suitable for

Treatment systems that never delivered good water quality
Filters that block too quickly or channel
Systems with poor backwash or regeneration
High maintenance or frequent failures
Water quality problems that persist after treatment

How the work is done

Inspect the treatment system and how it is operating
Measure and assess flow, pressure, and backwash behaviour
Check media condition, loading, and distribution
Identify incorrect settings, sizing, or installation issues
Correct flow rates, settings, or configuration on site
Retest the system and confirm improved performance

Problems this service fixes

Poor water quality after treatment
Channeling or fouled filter media
Incorrect backwash or regeneration cycles
Undersized or oversized treatment systems
Pressure loss across filtration
Treatment systems that constantly need attention

What you can expect

Improved water quality from the existing system
Correct flow and backwash operation
Reduced maintenance and media problems
Clear understanding of system limits
Practical next steps if upgrades are required

What we need to do the work

Access to the treatment system and associated pipework is required. The system must be operational and safe to test under normal conditions.

Limitations

Some treatment limitations are caused by raw water quality or system design. Severely undersized or incorrectly designed systems may require modification or replacement.
